David and Tierra first met in the 6th grade when they both attended Scottsburg Middle School. However, friendship and love bloomed at Scottsburg High School when Lara, Tierra's high school best friend, asked Tierra to sit beside her during a class movie because "she didn't want to sit by this weird kid, David." David and Tierra began talking, and David officially asked Tierra to be his girlfriend, after a football game on October 2nd, 2020. After four and a half years together, David asked Tierra to be his wife on April 9th. Now, they are planning their wedding and cannot wait to celebrate with their family and friends!
