Paulina's Version:

After church, the plan was that everyone was going to CAVA (picture Chipotle but mediterranean food) for lunch, so I decided to go. I was one of the first people to get there, and I had never been to CAVA before, so my friend Ali and I were very focused on the menu while in line. After ordering, I ended up sitting at a table with 4 other seats, and then this guy grabbed a chair from a different table and pulled it over next to me. He said his name was David, and we spent the rest of the lunch just talking to each other. There were 3 other people sitting at the table.

David's Version:

While on a busy Acute Care Surgery rotation, I decided to use one of my few days off to go to Grace Bible Church. At the post-church lunch, while in line to place my oder, Paulina's vibrant yellow dress, pretty smile, and contagious laugh caught my attention. I was determined to get to know her more. Originally intending to catch up with my friend Michael, I instead spent the entire hour with Paulina and was blown away... an architect from the Philippines who loves the Lord, music, travel, skiing, tennis and so much more. I knew this was definitely not the last time I would see her...
