Ariana and I met in High School. We were in the similar friend groups and were around each other often. We became very close friends our Senior year and were practically inseparable. This is the point where both of our families just assumed we were together, but we weren't quite there yet. It wasn't until the world went on lockdown and quarantine hit that the conversation of "us" even came into our minds. When that conversation happened, though, we knew it was the right decision. From there we moved in together, bought our first home, adopted two more fur babies and a birdie into the family and couldn't have been happier. When the next family vacation happened to Tennessee, I figured there wouldn't be a better time than the 18th hole of mini golf to propose. We got a Smokey Mountain Black Bear engagement ornament in Dollywood to commemorate the occasion and have been planning since.
