Our Wedding

It all began back in high school, where they first met and formed a lasting friendship.  Over the years, through moves, new chapters, and everything life threw their way, they always managed to stay in touch.  In February 2023, David invited Samantha to visit him in Los Angeles.  That visit rekindled something special, and soon, what had always been a strong friendship began to grow into something even more meaningful.  For over a year, they embraced a long-distance relationship—countless flights, FaceTime calls, and weekend adventures that made the distance feel just a little bit smaller.  Then, in December 2023, David made the move back to Buffalo, bringing them finally in the same city again.  In May 2024, surrounded by close friends and family, David planned a beautiful and intimate proposal—one that took Samantha completely by surprise (and she said yes!).  From high school friends to lifelong partners, they couldn’t be more excited to begin this next chapter together.

Friday, June 12th

DAY BEFORE THE WEDDING

Rehearsal 4 PM

Rehearsal for the Bride, Groom, Wedding party and close family will be at Nativity of Our Lord

Dinner started 5 PM

Saturday, June 13th

DAY OF WEDDING

Ceremony 2 PM

Reception 5 PM

Wayland Brewery  3740 N. Buffalo St  Orchard Park, NY 14127   Please join us for drinks, food and lots of dancing. Cocktail and hors d’oeuvres will be passed before dinner from 5 PM to 6 PM.

Attire policy

Formal or Semi-formal Whimsical and florals Guests of all gender expressions are welcome to dress in whichever of the following attire guidelines they feel most comfortable. Choose what best fits your style and comfort.

Ladies attire

Ladies the suggested attire is a sophisticated long, midi-length, or cocktail dress. Please avoid pink as it is the color of the bridal party. Inspiration photos are below

Gentlemen attire

Men’s suggested attire is dress pants, a dress shirt, and optional blazer. Please avoid light grey suit as it it is the color of the wedding party.

Dress code

Concerns on what to do or not to do durning ceremony.

Photos: The happy couple do ask that you limit using your phone during the ceremony so their photographer can fully capture their big moment. Communion: You may either walk in line for communion with others, cross your arms over your chest to receive a blessing, or remain in your pew. The couple does not ask that you share in their beliefs, but do ask you to recognize its traditions importance for us and be respectful.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

We are happy to accommodate any dietary needs for all of our guests. We ask that you please let us know your restrictions when responding to the RSVP.

Transportation 

The bride and Groom have arrange for a limo to pick up each party from their get ready location to the church. The limo will then transport the wedding party to the photo location and to the reception. However, you will need to set up your own transportation when the reception ends. The Bride and Groom has not arrange for transportation for other guests, only the wedding party.

If you are flying into Buffalo it would be recommended to use the below airport. Hotel Recommendation 

There are three hotels owned by Elliott Hotels and are all on the same road. These are 11 to 15 minutes to the ceremony and reception. Below is a booklet for the three hotels. Each page has a link in the corner for booking. David and Samantha have booked at Staybridge Suites.

Knox farms in East Aurora 

437 Buffalo Rd, East Aurora, NY 14052 Drive time: 20 minutes If looking to get out into nature for a walk or a run, definitely a must!

Niagara Falls

USA SIDE: 332 Prospect St, Niagara Falls, NY 14303 Drive time: 40 minutes CANADA SIDE: 6650 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 0L0 Drive time: 50 minutes (not including boarder crossing traffic) If you’re looking to site see, it is most definitely worth the drive.

Canal Side

44 Prime Street, Buffalo, NY 14202 Drive time: 19 minutes This is in downtown Buffalo, right on the water front.

Botanical Gardens 

The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens is a national historic site, education center, and tourist destination full of exotic horticulture treasures from around the world. Visitors enjoy the amazing architecture and the indoor and outdoor garden sanctuaries.

Frank Lloyd Wrights Martin House

He has had a profound impact on the city, with the city boasting one of the largest concentrations of his work. A few locations to visit; The Darwin D. Martin House Complex, Graycliff Estate, Walter V. Davidson House, Filling Station at the Pierce-Arrow Museum and Blue Sky Mausoleum.

Wedding Party Details 

Bridesmaids schedule 8 AM - arrive at Wayland for hair and getting ready. A timeline for each girls hair schedule will be provided through text message. 1:30 PM - limo picks up Bridal party.

Groomsmen schedule 9 AM - Arrive at David’s hotel room at Staybridge 12:50 PM - limo picks up Bridal party
