HOW WE MET

It all started 13 years ago; we met over a new social media platform named FACEBOOK. We started talking for three weeks before we actually start dating. First day of meeting each other, consisted of David bringing his buddies over to Lisa's house for supper with a couple of her friends. I wanted to impress David and his buddies so much that my intentions were to make chicken alfredo, but I forgot the chicken. My bad!! That was also the first day that David also met Lisa's two children Hayden and Hollie Cole. David walked into the house bringing the kids two bags each of candy. The kids told their mom " WE like him Mom, he brought us candy!" Remind you Hayden was 3 years old, and Hollie was two. And from that moment I knew that we would be together forever.

THE PROPOSAL

September 2, 2023

It was Labor Day Weekend, when we decided to go camping at Maskenthine Lake in Stanton, NE with some friends and family. Little did I know, David had a plan up his sleeve. The only people that knew about the proposal was our parents and Lisa's brother Derek.

The proposal day started out with David getting stung by a bee and trying to get all the family together at the same time. Once all the friends and family got to together, David decided to go to the camper and get the ring. David then went on one knee while Lisa was talking to her sisters, and he was trying to get Lisa to turn around. Lisa finally turned around and David finally asked the question.

After waiting 13 years, Lisa and David are finally engaged!!!!
