We meet through Great Wolf Lodge, we were both lifeguards, David had no clue that Shannon had a thing for him. It wasn't until one night, David, Shannon, and Selmy (Shannon's Maid of honor) went to go hangout at Indian School Park in Scottsdale, we had brought a volleyball and just played a little bit of soccer. We also were spinning around on a playground spinner. After hanging out for what seemed to be hours we decided to call it a night. I took Shannon home that night and that's when she leaned into kiss David. Thats when he knew that she liked him, and he liked her. David was totally brought back and was not expecting that what's so ever. David sat Infront of Shannon's house in his car for what felt like forever trying to process what had just happened. That night was the start of our relationship. We then went on our first date together at Harkins camel view to watch the movie, Black Adam. We then went onto go on many more dates. Shannon eventually told David that she had been trying to drop subtle hints that she liked him, but He was not catching on. In January of 2023 David got promoted to Aquatics Supervisor, and Shannon was forced to transfer to a different department, so she transferred into Guest services where she is still at today. Meanwhile David is currently a security officer at the Scottsdale school district. Our relationship not perfect what's so ever but we both can't see each other with anybody else, we are sole mates. David got down on one knee on December 1st, 2023, and we are in the midst of planning a wedding for February 6th, 2025.
