Q: What should I wear?

A: Our dress code is formal—think suits, cocktail dresses, or gowns. We encourage you to have fun with your look! Yancy especially loves bright colors and bold prints, so don’t be shy—bring the style and the celebration.

Q: What is the weather typically like?

A: Early October in Virginia is often crisp and beautiful, especially in the mountains. Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held outdoors with the reception to follow inside the barn. Both spaces are breathtaking—come dressed for sunshine, but we’ll have a backup plan just in case.

Q: What time should I arrive?

A: We kindly ask guests to arrive 15–30 minutes before the ceremony begins. We want you relaxed, seated, and ready for the celebration to start on time!

Q: Are children invited to the wedding?

A: We love your little ones! However, due to the more intimate nature of our celebration, we are only able to accommodate children specifically named on your invitation. We hope you’re able to enjoy a special night out with us!

Q: Is there parking at the venue?

A: Yes, there will be complimentary on-site parking for all guests. If you’re using a ride service, just enter King Family Vineyards and follow signs upon arrival.
