For those who may not know our story it's kind of interesting. I've heard two main things growing up. God has a plan for your life, and so does Nama. There are two unique perspectives to this story, so let's start with…


Sara's Perspective
Four years ago was the first time I heard about the Mullin family on the way home from the hospital . Nama said that she has two grandsons to pick from but the one that I heard about the most was David, he was the boy who did it all. Hunting, Fishing, and he even cheered. At this point in time I was a freshman in high school and he was a senior, so I would have never thought that I would meet him until one day I did.


David's Perspective
Nama and I were on our way to the lake house to get some things in order for the 2022 season. We stopped at Arby's for a Reuben sandwich when she turned to me to tell me about this cute blonde that she knows. Nama is known for setting up and I have always been number one on her hit list. She showed me pictures and I told her that I thought she was cute, but how was I going to meet this girl who lives two and a half hours away. Months go by and I never really give it another thought. Until…


The First Encounter
Nama had invited Sara to our house for thanksgiving week. She got there on a Monday, which was a day earlier than we thought. It was all so fast from shaking her hand on day one to playing footsie with her after thanksgiving dinner. The feelings just sparked after a couple days of her being there. She went home at the end of the weekend and we video called every night.


The first Date 
Three weeks after we had met, we went on our first date. We started the night out at Clinton square ice rink, we skated around for an hour and took pictures in front of the christmas tree. Then we went out to dinner at a place I'd rather not state because it's kinda embarrassing. Then finally we went to build-a-bear and got memorable teddy bears.


The engagement
After many fun, challenging and testing months. On November 9th 2024 On our 11 month Anniversary we went to Mojitos Grill In Destiny's mall, and then we went to an overlook area where I had a Beautiful set up. We got there just in time, right when the sun was setting. I got down on one knee and she said YES!
