David and Brianna's StoryOur story began at San Diego State University. Both of us were English majors and we met perhaps in the dorkiest scenario possible. We were both taking a class called "Post-Colonial British Literature." For the first few weeks, David was sitting all the way across the room, but he eventually made his way over to me by sitting next to a classmate he knew. I didn't know it at the time, but his intention the whole time was to sit by me so he could talk to me. While I would like to say sparks flew, it was only David that saw them (LOL). Despite his one-sided crush, I still thought he was one of the coolest people ever. Eventually, he realized I wasn't interested and we became good friends. It seemed fate had a way of bringing us back together because the next semester we ended up in the same college class (this time some drama class). The roles had flipped! This time I was the one with the crush and I was unsure if he still felt the same way. Over time, I was bold enough to ask him to study with me (which was my test date without it being an official date) and this time sparks actually flew. I would say the craziest part about our story is that our first date happened the day before the pandemic shut everything down. The universe really threw us together at the perfect time. We spent the whole first year of our relationship during the COVID pandemic - 2020. A crazy start!

I met Erica for the first time on October 23, 2001....because she's my little sister! From playing with Littlest Pet Shop toys as kids to screaming at each other over lost borrowed clothes as teenagers, she's been by my side my entire life. Even though we don't always see eye to eye on everything, I know for a fact she will always be there for me.  I can't imagine anyone else being my maid of honor on the most special day of my life!

Friends for over 15 years now, Luis has always been there whenever I need him. I still think about the first time we hung out and we bonded over Pizza rolls and laser tag. Out of all my friends, Luis has seen me through all my different phases. I still think about those nights out we had driving aimlessly as we tried to figure out the rest of our lives. I am grateful for all the memories we have shared over the past 14 years. I couldn’t imagine a better person to be there for me at my wedding.

David's niece and now technically also my niece.....Christian will not be calling me tia though lol. I remember being extremely nervous to meet David's family for the first time, but Christian made it 100 times easier.  We bonded quickly because we share many of the same girly and nerdy interests. She's become a very precious person in my life so of course I had to have her as one of my bridesmaids!

Me and Hares were both hired at the same time at Urban Outfitters. I remember thinking how much he annoyed me and figured we would probably never get a long. We annoyed each other to no end. All it took was one lunch break together to discover that we actually had way too much in common. That lunch break turned into late nights out, Yu-Gi-Oh! duels, and PSN chats. To this day me and H still talk every day, and share the same nerdy interests as we grow older: Magic the Gathering, Brawl Stars, and videogames. Glad you could be by my side during the greatest day of my life!

I met Cess all the way back in middle school! We actually hated each other at first and had the most stereotypical "frenemies" relationship of all time. We essentially both found someone we could bully in each other because we were both hopeless nerds at the time. (and hopeless nerds to this day if we're being honest). In reality, we had too much in common to NOT become best friends. Now we've been friends for over a decade!

My friendship with Eros began on a bus ride home during in the ninth grade. I remember my mom had given me money to buy interview clothes and I needed someone to go with me. I only knew Eros through casual conversations on the bus. For some reason, that day I decided to ask him to hang with me and the rest was history. I still remember how we spent all the cash my mom gave me on stupid junk. From that point forward me and Eros would spend our high school days playing Megaman 2 and eating Jack in-the-Box Tacos. To this day, Eros has continued to be my friend and we continue to do cool nerdy shit together!
