Shae and David's eyes first met at Dirty Bourbon in Albuquerque. The couple shortly began dating with their first date on October 6th, 2019, at the zoo with their families. With an accidental misunderstanding, David thought she ghosted him, although she was only in the hospital. Shae must have made a good first impression because David persistently texted her during her hospital stay. Coming out of her drug-induced coma, she realized the love this man had for her, and their story began shortly after. The couple spontaneously yet simultaneously proposed to each other. Shae gave David a pair of Nike's with "will you" and "marry me" on the back tabs. David gave Shae a beautiful ring to accompany the beautiful smile that he fell in love with. Throughout the years, their Facebook status has changed from single to in-relationship and finally to engaged. And after four years, their passion for each other has withstood a pandemic and families melding together, and they are happily joining hands and families on June 1st, 2024.
