Our Love Story

Some love stories begin in the most unexpected ways — ours began with years of missed chances and perfectly imperfect timing.

David and Tiffani have known of each other for many years. Their families have been close friends, and throughout childhood, they occasionally crossed paths at gatherings and events. Yet, despite these early connections, life had different plans for a while. David joined the U.S. Navy at just 18 years old, dedicating his life to serving his country and traveling the world, while Tiffani built a beautiful life in Arizona with her son, Tristin.

Then, in December 2024, fate finally decided it was time.

That year, Tiffani and Tristin traveled to Colorado to celebrate New Year’s with her aunt, uncle, and cousins — a long-standing family tradition. This time, her aunt and uncle-Melissa and Ryan, close friends of David’s parents (DJ and Christine), invited them to join the celebration. To Tiffani’s surprise, David was also home from deployment in the Bahamas and attending with his family.

And just like that — in true Disney fashion — sparks flew.

From the moment they reconnected, there was an undeniable connection between them. Before the New Year’s trip ended, David and Tiffani knew their story was only beginning. Despite the miles between them, they chose to give love a chance — starting a long-distance relationship that would soon prove just how strong their bond was.

Through nightly FaceTime calls, constant texts, laughter, and unwavering support, their love only grew deeper. David made several trips to Arizona, even attending Tiffani’s cousin Brittany’s wedding as her date — marking the start of many adventures together. Not long after, it was Tiffani and Tristin’s turn to travel, flying to Florida to meet David before heading to the Bahamas for a month filled with laughter, memories, and the first talks of forever.

Saying goodbye after that trip was difficult, but their hearts were already set on the future — one where they would no longer have to say goodbye.

When it came time to plan their wedding, they wanted something that reflected both of their worlds — David’s life at sea and Tiffani’s lifelong love for Disney. The perfect combination? A Disney Cruise wedding, blending ocean life, family, adventure, and the magic that brought them together.

Today, David, Tiffani, and Tristin are excited to embark on this next chapter together — a story of love, faith, and perfect timing. What once felt like years of missed chances has become the most beautiful reminder that true love always finds its way.
