David’s POV




You know school is a funny concept. You meet hundreds of people and you think you will never meet them again. But when you do see them again it’s something special. The first time I met Ydalia in middle school, I didnt pay her any mind. We talked sometimes and we even did a school project together. But in the end, we didnt get to know each other that well. And life went on. As I got through high school, I never thought about the people I talked to in school. I genuinely kept to myself. But it seems like Jehovah wanted me to remember this girl. When I got to trade school, guess whos the first person I see? Thats right, the same girl from middle school, Ydalia Peterson. It was definitely refreshing to see a familiar face. But just like middle school I never really did anything with it. The conversation was kept at some times, but most of the time it was hi and bye. That all changed years later on November 12, 2023. Now I would occasionally see her during an assembly, but something was different that day. It might have been the way she dressed, the way she smelled, or something I dont know, but I had the urge to speak to her that day. So as she walked by I grabbed her and said “You were going to walk by without saying anything!” It was at that moment, as she turned to face me, that time seemed to slow. Her smile was radiant and warm. Her beauty was vibrant. There was something magnetic about her presence, a spark I hadn’t noticed before—or maybe, a spark that had always been there, quietly waiting for its moment to ignite. Everything about that day felt different. It was as if Jehovah had aligned every detail to bring us back together. And in that instant, I knew this wasn’t just another passing moment; this was the start of something extraordinary.




Dali’s POV




I remember seeing David for the first time in a while, and he was looking a bit too good so I was thinking “I’m just going to walk by and not say anything” After he pulled me over and greeted me, I knew from that moment, I wanted to be in his life somehow. I asked my brother to wingman and get his number for me, but instead, he made me go with him. Now, I’m not normally a forward person, but I impulsively invited him to dinner that same day. And he showed up promptly! From that night on we continued talking and building our friendship. After talking for a while, we realized our feelings were more than platonic, and we decided to take a chance on each other. From there we continued to fall more and more in love with each other while creating core memories together and growing as eternal life partners. From all our late-night phone calls, the moments we’ve shared, the thoughtful gifts, the sweet love notes, and every cup of coffee you spoil me with—David, you show me every single day how deeply you love me, exactly as I am. And for that, I’m beyond grateful to be called yours. We’ve walked through so much together, and I thank Jehovah every day for blessing me with someone I can fully trust, lean on, and love without hesitation, just as He loves me. You’re my heart, my home, and I’m so fortunate to have you. Throughout our relationship, we’ve received such blessings from our loving God Jehovah, family, and close friends, and that kindness, love, understanding, and unconditional support has allowed us to bloom into the couple we are now. We can’t wait to celebrate our love with those who have been pillars to us throughout our lives.
