Every year on the last Saturday of September, downtown Minocqua transforms into a lively celebration known as Beef-A-Rama™. This beloved festival, with a history spanning over 50 years, attracts more than 12,000 visitors who come to enjoy a day filled with savory aromas, community spirit, and festive activities.

The heart of the event is the beef roasting competition, where local chefs and businesses prepare mouthwatering roasts, vying for the title of top roaster. Attendees can sample a variety of beef dishes, including shaved prime rib, shredded beef, and brisket sandwiches, offered by various vendors throughout the town.
