Our Story

Jennie's Side

Well we meet in the parking lot of sonic in Brandon through a mutual friend. He was very goofy and funny. He immediatly turned my head and I had a little bit of crush on him. I tried to casually flirt but i dont think it worked. I tried talking to him for a little bit but he was super busy with football and school so I stopped, but we were connected on social media. One day he messaged me and we started talking. I was currently at Holmes and David was at MC still. We talked for hours on end almost every night just getting to know each other. Then we started making trips to see each other at school. David would come up to holmes to see me and I would go down to MC to see him. David took me out to OEC for our first date, I was so shy. "P.S. definitely not anymore." David would drive me around the city and we would just talk. We did this for about a month until december came around and David took me to the Canton Lights and asked me to be his girlfriend. 5 years later here we are!

We met in a sonic parking lot. I could tell she liked me but thought she was trying too hard, but I was busy with football and school at MC and was too interested. Couple months went by and around October I messaged her back on social media one night and a couple days later were on FaceTime that turned into a routine. We were just talking to talk for hours on end and before long I started to find interest in her. We talked for a while and hung out a good bit and I’d made my mind up that I’ve got to have her. We shared no common interests or hobbies but still found a way to enjoy being together and I noticed that. We went to look at Christmas lights that December and we officially started “dating”. And I still remember how excited she was, it’s like I had already asked her to marry me, kinda worried me. Here we are 5 years later and I’ve never been as happy. God has definitely blessed up and I couldn’t be more happy he chose us to be together for the rest of our lives and I hope every day passes like cold molasses just to feel like I have more than a lifetime with her. Here’s to the good times we’ve had, and all the good times to come
