From Maggie's Point of View:

Our story is short & sweet-

It was October and I had just graduated from high school the previous June. I was living in Grand Rapids with my sister at the time working and enjoying time with my nephew. One night I got a SnapChat from Davin Hogan. I got a weird feeling because I knew who he was, knew he had gone to school about 15 minutes from where I went to school, had seen him basketball games, but we had never ever spoken to each other. When I first saw the notification, I'm pretty sure I said "Ohhh, great..." And I also thought- I'm just going to open it and not respond. So I opened it up & there he was with a hat and super long hair and if I remember right he said "What's up?" Romantic right? Well even though I told myself I wasn't going to answer him... I did, obviously;) So we chatted & I eventually found out that a friend I graduated with ended up at the same college in the same friend group as Davin. How my name got brought up, who knows?! But I guess I'm glad it did.

Anyway, the rest is pretty much history. It became official the next month, and from then on we spent every single second we could together. God knew we would need each other when we did. He has led us through & taught us so much. Davin Joe messed up my life & made it whole all at once. I am so excited to see what the rest of our story looks like!

From Davin's Point of View:

It all started one night when I was in Alpena hanging out with some buddies. One of my buddies name who coincidentally went to high school with this cute blonde girl, told me she was single and to hit her up. So I did what every 20 year old would do send her a snapchat of Carter and I. We talked just a little bit that night but talked to her more the next day and the following day, which lead to talking everyday. At the time we started talking she was living down in Grand Rapids, so I kinda thought there was no chance she would want to meet up to hang out. Somehow I convinced her to come home one weekend and to hangout with me. After the first date she still wanted to talk to me everyday which lead to a relationship which lead to driving home every weekend to see each other. Not before long a year went by, then engagement, then 2 years, and now we are getting married July 2025!
