Davin and Megan met at the Fall Fair in Smith, Alberta in September of 2022. Megan grew up in smith and spent most Labour Day weekends at the Fall Fair. Thanks to Davin’s mom Deanna, Davin made it out to Fall Fair too. Davin noticed Megan right away and waited patiently to get a chance to talk to her. Davin asked Megan to dance and when the dance was done, they realized there was a spark. Their first date was in October 2022 at Megan’s Dad's house in Smith, down by the river.

Davin asked Megan to be his girlfriend in January of 2023.

On April 20th, 2024, Davin proposed to Megan with the help of Megan’s sister Ashley, as well as parents Jennifer and Ferdinand. In front of her friends and family, Davin asked Megan at the place of their first date to marry him- and the rest is history.
