In their high school library in 2015, Davonté and Iriel’s story began to unfold. It wasn’t a meeting they had planned or expected, but it sparked something special—an authentic friendship that grew naturally and deeply. By the Winter Formal in 2016, their friendship had blossomed into something even more profound. They became inseparable, finding joy and comfort in each other’s presence. Their connection was more than just romantic; it was a partnership founded on mutual respect and care. On March 15, 2016, their journey as a couple officially began. That day marked the start of a love story that would only grow stronger with time. As they navigated the complexities of life beyond high school, they held onto each other, their bond deepening with every shared experience. College brought its own set of challenges, but their love proved resilient. They supported one another through personal growth and celebrated each other’s successes, emerging stronger and more in love. After eight years together, on March 15, 2024, Davonté proposed to Iriel in the Museum of Love in Los Angeles. It was a moment they would cherish forever—a promise of a lifetime together and a celebration of the journey they had already traveled. In the vibrant and intimate setting of the museum, surrounded by expressions of love and art, Iriel said yes. Their engagement became a testament to the love, trust, and devotion they had built over the years. Now, as they look ahead to their wedding day on March 15, 2026, Davonté and Iriel are filled with excitement and anticipation. This date holds a special place in their hearts, marking a full DECADE of love, commitment, and shared memories.
