COVID19 Update: We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our guests for their understanding as we continue to navigate the best and safest way to host our wedding during this time. Since we consider all of you more than friends, but as extended members of our family, your health and well-being are important to us. As such, we have taken several measures to ensure your safety during our wedding. First, our ceremony at Alys Beach will only be open to immediate family and bridal party. However, we welcome all guests to join us for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing at our open-air reception at Watersound Origins Lawn. Guests will find ways to socially distance at our open-air concept reception under a clear top tent. While table seating will be available, guests will also have the option to mingle and eat outside the tent at distanced tables and outdoor lounges. We will provide masks and hand sanitizer for your convenience. All vendors, event staff, and servers will also be required to wear face masks and will be required a temperature reading before they can work the event. Our caterer will be responsible for serving guests at food stations to keep the handling of serving utensils to a minimum. Lastly, out of loving concern, we encourage each guest take a COVID-19 test before making the decision to attend our wedding and stay at home if they feel unwell. Additional Guests: Although we believe children are a wonderful addition to festivities and would love for our wedding to be a whole family event, our venue has limited seating. We respectfully request that those seats be reserved for children of immediate families and bridal party. Weather: Since the reception will be held outdoors, please be sure to bring a coat or shawl to accommodate the very unpredictable Florida weather in the month of February.
