It was July 29, 2023. Molly was invited (told) by her friend, Tessa Moore (Dawson's first cousin) , to the Parkside Demolition Derby. Tessa always was going on adventures and Molly was always down to do something.

Dawson was there with his friends, they usually go every year for people who are from the Shellbrook community. Molly and Dawson were hanging out in the same crew, watching the cars crash together in the heat of the summer. The Molly and Tessa planned on staying with Tessa's other cousin who had a tent so they could stay for the after party.

After hanging out for a bit and with a little bit of liquid courage, Dawson commented on liking Molly's red hair which turned into them flirting quiet heavily. Molly asked Tessa if it was okay that she flirted with her cousin (Dawson). They sat at a table and talked about tattoos and Tessa etc. while Tessa "shockingly" disappeared for a couple hours.

Molly and Dawson started dancing, Dawson was laughing at Molly's dancing. They kissed hehe. Tessa and Molly didn't have a ride home and Dawson's ride left without him so he was invited to stay in the tent.

Tessa, Dawson and Molly slept on a flat mat which Dawson didn't fit on with the girls and he gave me his sweater to Molly because she had the chills and no sweater. We may have shared a blanket that Dawson also didn't get a part on. We slept for 2 hours and roosters were crowing in the morning.

They sat around for a little bit while waiting for everyone to wake up. Molly kept on telling herself to grab Dawson's phone to put her number in and he was trying to have the courage to give his phone to her because Molly's phone was dead.

Dawson's ride eventually came. He stopped to wave at the car door while Molly gave him an embarrassing peace sign. He returned with another peace sign. Dawson told his ride that he screwed up and Molly was telling herself how stupid giving a peace sign was as a good-bye.

Molly eventually got her phone charged after having a nap on a trampoline. While driving back to Prince Albert, Molly wanted to message Dawson, but he had already beat her to the punch and messaged her on Facebook. Molly replied to Dawsons message and the rest is history...
