Our Wedding

It all started on August 31, 2019, in my hometown of Homerville, Georgia. My friend Harper and I were invited to a bonfire at our friend Harrison’s house. We had no idea that one of Harrison’s college buddies, Rudy Pearson, would be there, or that meeting him would change everything. At the time, I had just started my freshman year of college and had never met Rudy before. That night, we instantly bonded over music, laughter, and the kind of effortless conversation that just clicks. Soon after, we were both back in Milledgeville, and Rudy started asking me to hang out. Our first “date” was Captain D’s. (Yes, seriously.) From there, we spent more time together at the fishing house, made new friends, and shared countless memories I will never forget. On October 9, 2019, Rudy officially asked me to be his girlfriend, and of course, I said yes. Then came COVID in March 2020, and we spent nearly every weekend together at Lake Seminole in Bainbridge, Georgia. Over the next few years, we navigated long distance, made countless three-hour drives to see each other, and always found a way to make it work no matter what. Bainbridge holds so many special memories for us, and I cannot wait to make another unforgettable one at The Simmons House on our wedding day. Now, six years later, we are ready to say “I do” and start the next chapter of our lives. We are so thankful for everyone who has been part of our journey, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you.
