Doug and Dayna met the summer of 2021 over Fourth of July weekend in Montauk. Doug joined in on a 2 month sharehouse rental with friends forJune and July. Dayna and her girlfriends were just out East for the long holiday weekend staying at an Airbnb.

It was a rainy weekend out in Montauk, so the typical outdoor bars and restaurants were not in the cards. Both groups settled on going out to The Point, a dive bar in town.

Doug spotted Dayna in the bar as she stood out wearing a bright green top. He approached her with a BudLight in hand and said "You're the prettiest girl in the bar, do you want a BudLight?"
