Jerry and Debbie met for the first time on Super Bowl Sunday in 2021 at the home of Mark and Bonnie K. Mark was Jerry’s dog trainer. Bonnie and Debbie have been friends for a number of years. Mark had an intuition that Jerry would be a good match for Debbie. After a couple of months of Bonnie and Mark insisting that they meet, Debbie finally gave in to them.
Mark and Bonnie invited both Jerry and Debbie to their house to watch the Super Bowl. They both pulled up to the house at the same time! Jerry in his new KIA Soul and Debbie in her old reliable Honda Civic. Afterwards Debbie and Jerry began to communicate through Facebook and text messages. Within 2 weeks they went on their first date at Red Brick Station in Whitemarsh. Three years later Jerry proposed to Debbie on a beautiful evening on a beach down in The Dominican Republic. After an 18 month engagement and four and a half years together Jerry and Debbie are ready to tie the knot!
