Spend some time exploring Marfa - lunch, cocktails, shopping or head back to the Casa for some rest

Bring your passport and some cash. It will cost 5 dollars to cross over the Rio Grande in a little boat. Once across, it will cost about 10 dollars to ride on a horse, donkey, or truck up the hill. You can walk but it is sandy and steepish. You will stop at their customs and pay a fee (5 dollars) then continue riding into town. There, after getting off the horse, there is a little walk to the restaurant, Jose Falcon. There are items for sale along the way. We will probably have a "guide" with us that we will tip before crossing back over. Not totally necessary but it is one form of income for the people of Boquillas. We may also bring items to donate for the school and the children and I will have more information before we go!
