Her point of view

In April 2024, I went to visit one of my best friends in North Carolina. While I was there, I met some of her friends, her new boyfriend and his brother Daus….

Honestly at first I really didn’t care. In my head I was moving to London in a few months so I didn’t have time for anything. I also felt like I was living on a roller coaster, why would I want to bring anyone along for that wild ride?

While I was there visiting, I started to realize he was unlike anyone I had ever met, literally everything I had written on a list and prayed for was standing in front of me. He was so sweet, loved the Lord and the people around him so well and taught me to dance.

I had started the trip out “not caring” but day 3 of being there and being around Daus I definitely was.

I went home without a way to talk to him or ever see him again, a little frustrated that I would meet someone like him right before moving to London….or so I thought.

My first day back to work in Florida I was eating lunch with a friend. I told her about my trip and about Daus. I made a statement then that looking back now was pretty crazy. I said, “if I ever get to live anywhere near that man I’m going to marry him.”

Weeks later all of the plans for me moving to London completely fell through. But God completely flipped the picture on me and in July of 2024 I moved to London Lane, in North Carolina… 30 minutes away from Daus. And the rest is history.

His point of view

We met at a mutal friend’s game night. Deborah was in town from FL for a visit. Quite frankly there was no immediate action taken from either one of us, because we had our own things going on in life. But that all changed when Deborah’s leading to go to London England, turned to a leading to move to London Lane Winston-Salem NC. Without this bit of crucial information I was visited by the thought of this lovely selfless girl from FL. I couldn’t stop thinking about her, and had to talk to her again, even if just to encourage her to follow her selfless leading to serve the Lord. When at last we spoke again she told me,

‘’Actually I am moving to London Lane, Winston-Salem, NC’’

After that news it was game on!
