The Meme-ingful Beginning

It all started when a friend tried to refer this beautiful lady to join my company. Little did I know that this referral would lead to a lifetime of happiness! We connected on Instagram, and boom! The meme game was on!

As freshly graduated university ke bache, we vibed over broke student and early corporate employee memes. After all, finding someone who laughs at your jokes is rarer than finding Kohinoor diamond, right?

The Sneaky Phone Checks

Soon, I found myself in a project where mobiles were banned in the work area. But did that stop me? Nahi, bilkul nahi! I'd sneak out more often than me trying to avoid eating karela, just to check if she had reacted to my memes or shared something new. Talk about dedication, huh?

Pehli Mulakatein

Finally, I traveled to her city for our first meet. I was more nervous than my interview, thinking "Kya puchegi? Mumbai ka capital Dharavi, Delhi ka capital India?" But guess what? It turned out to be an adventure of a lifetime!

The highlight? A 3 AM scooty ride in chilly November weather, just to reach a cafe in the outskirts of Bangalore. Why? "JUST FOR VIBE," obviously! After that 5-hour trip, we were truly "zinda lash jaise ghum ke aaye hai" But it was worth being zinda lash that day!

Also, later she found a dog cafe for us to visit, even though she wasn't a big fan of dogs and thought they were a bit messy, she did it for me, I guess that was a hint too! HAHA! That's when I knew she was a keeper.

The COVID Chronicles

Then came the plot twist nobody saw coming - COVID lockdown! But for us, it was like hitting the jackpot. Work from home meant I could live with this beautiful lady (and finally eat some acha khana, let's be honest).

I think she wanted to do a sanity check - "Yeh janwar ke sath reh sakte hai ya nahi, let's see." There was a steep learning curve, folks. This bachelor pad ka alsi had to unlearn many habits and transform into a "saaf sutra aadmi" I deserve a medal for that, don't you think?

The Lifetime Employment Bond

Fast forward to today, and I'm thrilled to announce that I'm finally getting my lifetime employment bond with her! I promise to make her laugh, irritate her (because what's love without some fun?), and travel the world together. Maybe I should post this on LinkedIn? "Excited to announce my new role as a Full-time Husband"

Summing up for my Monica

In this beautiful lady, I've found a great friend, an amazing partner, and my greatest adventure. Her friendship fills my life with more joy than finding an extra French fry at the bottom of the piri piri fries ka bag.

I'm grateful for her support, kindness, and the way she understands me better than I understand camera while trying to take her ONE good photo. I appreciate the changes she's embraced for me, especially watching RCB lose cricket matches all summer instead of binge-watching Friends for the 100th time.

To my partner in crime, thank you for always being there, encouraging me during tough times, and laughing at my silly jokes. Your support means more to me than free Wi-Fi in a foreign country, I guess hum F1 students wale yeh reference samjhenge after their first travel.
