Both URH / Hotel Atenea Port have an official 3pm check in time - though they might have some rooms available earlier. They are both also willing to store luggage if you arrive early. Just use your name to check in. Payment will be taken at the site.

There are plenty of hotels in the area to choose from but here are some of our recommendations!
We recommend early booking since it's the bank holiday & the weekend of the F1 races.
On the day of the wedding, we will organise a bus from Hotel Atenea.

Recomanem reservar amb antelació, ja que és festiu i el cap de setmana de les cursa de F1.
URH Ciutat de Mataró
A nice hotel a 15 minute walk from the beach at a company discount price of 69€ per night with breakfast. It will be a 15-20 minute walk to the bus where we will organise the bus from. If you'd like to stay here, message Dee or Albert and we will book the room for you.
Hotel Atenea Port
Located in Mataro next to the train station and on the beach, Hotel Atenea is roughly 50minutes by train to Blanes (site of wedding) and 30 minutes by train to Barcelona. The hotel itself is nice, has a pool and is generally affordable - though prices may rise due to the bank holiday / F1 races.
The trains are very simple to use and are a great alternative to fighting over parking and traffic.

Situat a Mataró al costat de l'estació de tren i de la platja, l'Hotel Atenea es troba a uns 50 minuts amb tren de Blanes (lloc del casament) i 40 minuts amb tren de Barcelona. L'Hotel en sí és agradable, té una piscina i, en general, és assequible, tot i que els preus poden augmentar a causa de la cursa de F1.
Els trens són molt senzills d'utilitzar i són una gran alternativa per no haver de tenir problemas amb l'aparcament i el trànsit.

Hôtel Pi-Mar
Slightly more expensive than Hotel Atenea and perhaps not as luxurious. The advantage to this hotel is that it is in walking distance to El Convent de Blanes where the wedding will be held. It is also right on the beach.
Una mica més car que l'Hotel Atenea i potser no tan luxós. L'avantatge d'aquest hotel és que es troba a poca distància a peu del Convent de Blanes on se celebrarà el casament. També està just davant la platja.
Santa Marta Hotel
Santa Marta is the more a luxurious choice with a private beach and close to Blanes / the wedding location. This is where the bridal party will be staying though all are welcome.
Santa Marta és una opció més luxosa amb una platja privada i prop de Blanes. Aquí és on s'allotjarà la núvia, tot i que tots són benvinguts
Getting around / Desplaçar-se
It's a Bank Holiday and major festival (St Joan) the weekend of our wedding. There likely will be crowds, traffic and little parking.
Trains are frequent and easy to use. There is one from Barcelona to Blanes along the coast. It's quite scenic. This same train stops in Mataro for those who wish to stay there.
Taxis are relatively inexpensive but on this weekend it's best to book in advance.
We will have shuttles / buses from the port to the venue and from Hotel Atenea to the venue. (TBA).
És festiu i festa major (Sant Joan) el cap de setmana del nostre casament. Probablement hi haurà aglomeracions, trànsit i poc aparcament.
Els trens són freqüents i fàcils d'utilitzar. N'hi ha un de Barcelona a Blanes per la costa. És força pintoresc. Aquest mateix tren té parada a Mataró per a aquells que s'hi vulguin allotjar.
Els taxis són relativament barats, però aquest cap de setmana és millor reservar amb antelació.
Disposarem de transports/autobusos des del port fins al recinte i des de l'Hotel Atenea fins al recinte.
