Deep and Natalie met in May 2020 via a dating app. Deep was quite the gentleman, picking Natalie up for their first date with a full bouquet of white lilies in hand and opening her car door (each time the opportunity arose, which continues to this day ;); this was followed by a 4hr walk along the beach full of deep conversation and laughter.

Date 2 and so on included multiple more coffee walk dates (seeing as there really wasn't much else to do with everything being shut down due to covid), which further led to cooking together, weekend adventures, and movie nights :)

Their trip to Buffalo to meet her Family for the first time at Christmas that year Dec 2020 was when they both knew this would result in marriage.

June 4th, 2022: Deep surprised Natalie with a weekend trip to the redwoods just outside of Santa Cruz, CA to celebrate her 29th birthday; he spoiled her good with a beautiful remote cabin airbnb including morning and evening campfires and a trip the the Monterey Bay Aquarium (along with gifts of the wazoo). On their way back from the aquarium, Deep instructed Natalie to keep her eyes closed upon arrival back to the BnB so he could prepare some surprises (which he had done multiple times in the past so she wasn't suspecting of anything our of the normal). He then got her out of the car, walked her up onto the porch, where he then told her to open her eyes; to her surprise, there were flowers with pictures of the two of them and a white box. Upon opening the box, she was met with a small cake topped with flowers and the words "will you marry me?" She turned around to find Deep on one knee. The rest is history.
