When I first met Deepika, it was impossible not to notice her incredible smile and contagious laugh. Although she moved to Chicago well before I was able to, we both knew that no matter how many miles were between us, or however many days we had to be apart that we wanted to be together. The proposal happened spontaneously on August, 25th of 2023 at a small park in Galena, IL during a weekend trip with our dog, Dakota. When I proposed, I was flooded with emotions, but most notably, I was excited on the idea of spending forever with her. We're both so grateful to our family and friends for their love and support. We can't wait to celebrate our wedding this coming September.
