Our Wedding

Thanks to a mutual friend and now groomsman, Deja and Jeffrey met in October 2016 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Deja was looking to celebrate her 21st birthday alongside some college friends, so she traveled down to AC for a quick celebration. There, she was greeted by many known friends, but one stranger caught her eye, Jeffrey, and little did she know, this would be the start of their forever.&nbsp; After that evening the two kept in sporadic contact through the end of Deja’s senior year at West Chester. Jeffrey made a couple of appearances to campus to “visit friends” but often managed to make a stop at Deja’s apartment. The summer post graduation, the two went on just a few dates and then things naturally fizzled out as the two settled into their careers and passions.&nbsp; It wasn't until Thanksgiving morning of 2018, when the two officially reconnected. Jeffrey took the brave leap of faith and texted Deja a sweet but unexpected message wishing her a “Happy Thanksgiving”. This was the official spark of the start of their relationship. The two made it official on New Year's Day 2019 after spending the holiday together. They quickly realized that they were each other’s “person” and best friend and moved into their first apartment together on their new favorite holiday, New Year’s Day 2021.&nbsp; Over the next few years, Deja and Jeffrey shared some incredible memories, travel opportunities, career promotions, and dream jobs that came to fruition during their time together. But of course, a standout moment was when Deja joined the Rowley family for a vacation in Hawaii in June of 2023, which quickly became a special place for the two. On day 2 of the trip, after an intense drive through crazy terrain, a hike down a cliff, and a quick moment to take in the insane views, Jeffrey popped the question. Finding the most perfect and rare location for the special moment, he surprised Deja with a proposal at Papakōlea Beach (1 of only 4 Green Sand Beaches in the WORLD).&nbsp;&nbsp; Deja and Jeffrey can’t wait to start this next chapter in their lives together and are thrilled to celebrate with all of you very soon!

The Marriott: AC Hotel Newtown Square&nbsp;is a brand new hotel conveniently built right in front of our wedding venue. The hotel is just one walk across a parking lot away from our big day. This is our closest and most convenient hotel block! Our room block at the discounted rate has CLOSED on 2/20/2025. You can still book this hotel at the standard rate.

AC Hotel Newtown Square

The Hilton Garden Inn Newtown Square Radnor is another great option located just down the street from our venue. You can get to the venue with a short drive or walk down the street! Our room block at the discounted rate has CLOSED on 2/20/2025. You can still book this hotel at the standard rate.

Please arrive no later than 5:30pm to leave time for parking and finding a seat. Our Ceremony will start promptly at 6:00pm. If the ceremony has already started before your arrival you will need to wait in the lobby.

Please note that there are two Wedding Venues on Ellis Preserve right by each other. Our venue is pictured below (big black barn), while the other is white/stone.
