Lawrence and I have been the best of friends for over twenty years. I can no better describe our friendship than I can describe the sun. No matter how cold the night gets, there's familiar comfort in knowing the sun will rise in the morning, just as when, through the hardest parts of my life, I've felt comfort in knowing that he has always been there for me. He was always right beside me either cheering me on or helping me to my feet. No matter the distance between us, he is always right by my side in spirit.

My queen on this Earth - I do not have character space to express my love and gratitude for her. We grew up together and have been best friends for years. No one has come to know and understand me like she does. I couldn't be the woman I am today without her love, humor, and guidance. We are partners in this world together - no doubt!

Jesse and I met in a summer school class right before starting High School. He and I became fast friends over close-up magic, of all things. Magic isn't the coolest hobby to have in High School, but that never stopped us. Jesse was always impressed by my ability to draw a crowd, while I was constantly in awe of his knowledge and passion. While magic and hobbies are impressive, Jesse brings that knowledge and passion into every aspect of his life, and dedication and perseverance are a constant source of inspiration to me.

Madison and I survived graduate school together. We were there for each other through ups and downs and developed our counseling identities side by side. We spent a lot of long days and nights growing, changing, and really coming into our own. She has an irreplaceable space in my journey as a person and counselor. Knowing her has been a true blessing in my life. She's so wild and free and is one of the most beautiful people I've known - both inside and out.

David and I met during Freshman year of high school and we became quick friends. I know for a fact that David will be a friend for life since he met me when I was at my most annoying and has stuck around and been a faithful friend to this day. David has always been a strong man of character whose conviction, perseverance, and discipline are an inspiration to me. We've had countless adventures together. Some nights we conquered the world, and some nights we did nothing at all. Either way, the time we've spent together has meant everything to me.

Hannah and I have known each other since I started working at Heritage. She has given me the gift of being her friend. I know her kindness, her safety and reassurance, her comfort, and her humor. I love our long rides together to and from work talking about nothing and everything. I am forever and indescribably grateful for her.

Andrew and I met when we were both just part-time associates at the Home Depot in Kirksville in 2016. We stayed side-by-side and helped each other grow through the trials of work-life, the uncertainty of the pandemic, and the fun of everyday life. Andrew is like a brother to me. He is a fiercely loyal man whose commitment to his friends and family knows no bounds. I was honored to be a part of his beautiful wedding with his wife, Lorrin, and I am so honored that they get to be a part of Sam and my wedding day!

Lorrin and I came to know each other through the friendship that Andrew and Del share. I've loved our couples dates and the times we've spent hanging around. Her humor is unbeatable and she is someone who I immediately felt at ease around. She is such a thoughtful, witty, and caring person - I'm lucky to have her in my life.
