Our Wedding

Kyle and I met in very non-traditional way. No meet cutes, no bars... just a conversation about what belongs on pizza on an app with a bad rap... Tinder. So without further a-do, here is our Tinderella story. Kyle and I matched on tinder during the early stages of covid, when toilet paper was as good as gold. If you know anything about Kyle, he is a very forward person, much like myself, shocking I know. His message read, do you want me to hit you with a corny pick-up line, or can we skip all that shit. With every business shut down, this left us with limited options for a first date, so we opted for a simple walk with our dogs and coffee in hand. Well this first date was something else... Kyle quickly turned from a stranger to me knowing just about everything about his last 10 years. Talk about oversharing. After we walked back to my car, I peeled out of there quicker than a person could catch covid. Obviously that didn't scare me enough because our friendship continued and we hung out almost every other day. A few months of late night drives listening to music, trips to the mountains and lots of ice cream dates with our dogs, we started to grow something more than a friendship. After my many attempts of trying to push him away and denial of feelings, he asked me to be his girlfriend while we were out star gazing in the country. Throughout our 5 year relationship, we have made so many memories. From our adventures of driving cross country to Ontario to meet his family, Invermere, Drumheller, Cuba, Tofino/Vancouver Island and countless trips to the mountains to explore the beauty and of course fishing. In that 5 years we took a less traditional path and we welcomed our daughter, Scottie Elizabeth Fraser, into the world and grew our little family. Becoming new parents only added to the foundation of our love for each other. Kyle had picked out the ring, asked my father for his permission, planned how he was going to propose and in Kyle fashion, threw that plan out the window and proposed in our home out of excitement. Which was for the better because I was starting to put the puzzle pieces together. It was perfectly imperfect. Swiping right to now saying our I do's. We couldn't be more excited to see what the rest our lives have planned for us.

Darcelle is the sister of the Bride. Though they are day and night from each other, they still have that unbreakable sister bond. Darcelle has always been there for the Bride giving her big sister advice when it came to being young and dumb, heartbreak and now motherhood. Darcelle has been the Brides role model to look up to, a best friend to vent to and best secret keeper a sister could ask for. Don't let the picture fool you, she is nice, sometimes.

Anika is a best friend of the bride. Although they went to the same high school together, their friendship didn't start until after they were both graduated. Since then they have been inseparable, always planning their next greatest prank or adventure. Anika and the Bride are as thick as thieves and have been through each others highest highs and lowest lows, loving each other throughout it all.

Maiya is the brides friend and sister in law. They grew up knowing many of the same people being from the same town but their friendship started when the brides brother, Diego, introduced us. Since then they grown a friendship much like a sisterhood. Maiya and the bride never need an excuse to get together for a coffee and hang out with the littles, sharing their life with each other.

Andrea is a friend of the bride. Andrea and the bride first met through their work where they quickly became friends. After the bride got transferred to a new location, that didn't stop the friendship from being outside of work. What better way to keep hanging out when Andrea does lashes and the Bride cant been without them! From lash therapy and lunch dates, these two shares lots of laughs!

Odette is the niece on the brides side. Odette is such a sweet little girl who is kind, thoughtful and caring. She LOVES the colour pink, purple and rainbow but loves playing with her baby brother more. Odette is also a Ukrainian Dancer so make sure you watch her boogey on the dance floor!

Mia is the niece on the Grooms side. Mia is a very sweet little girl who is loves all things paw patrol and dressing up in her princess dresses! Mia loves to be silly and make those around laugh! Mia also loves to do crafts and colour and very much LOVES all things sparkly!

Jared is a friend of the Grooms. They became friends at work when Jared got hired onto Kyles rig. Throughout the years they have built a friendship on a lot of laughs and good times. These two have become more like brothers in each others lives 

Jared Hunt

Jesse is a friend of the Grooms, do not let his age fool you into thinking this is the Grooms father. Jesse and the Groom met at a car meet where they quickly bonded over the love of their mustangs. Some would say they spotted each other's red hair from across the parking lot and just naturally gravitated towards one another. 

Jesse Mckay 

Nick is a friend of the Groom. The two met through their workplace on the rigs and became fast friends. Though they no longer work together and have opposite schedules of one another, making it a rare occasion they get to see each other... you better believe that when they do, there is usually smoked meat involved. 

Nick Ellenburger

Mathew is the Grooms longest friend in Alberta. The two met at a shop party back when the Groom moved to Alberta 12 years ago. Though they don't get to see each other as often as they would like, the two still make time to talk regularly to catch up on their lives.

Levi is the nephew on the brides side. Levi is one of the funniest and silliest boys you will meet. If he has an audience, he is sure to perform his latest on how to make you smile.
