The announcement came out...a pandemic. Covid took over and our lives altered.

When it hit the news on March 13th, 2020 that the world would be shut down and Molloy College would not come back into session in person, Delaney's mom, Kerri, pushed her and her brother Nolan to join the workforce at ShopRite to have some normalcy and human interaction. So Delaney became a Shop From Home personal shopper, and would unknowingly meet her future husband, Zachary.

Zachary was working at ShopRite prior to the pandemic in the Deli Department, while pursing a degree at Stony Brook University.

As months went on Zach noticed Delaney and her the same. Both admiring from afar from the little they could see of each other. (mind you they were both wearing masks) They soon learned each others name from other people, and can eventually give kudos to Zach's co worker, Fran, whom Zach confided in about his crush on Delaney. He told Fran "don't say anything to her" and of course she did not listen and Fran in secret went up to Delaney and pointed out Zach and explained his crush on her. From there they closed the gap of admiring from afar which of course would lead to them dating, getting enagaged, getting married and having their daughter, Maeve Rosemary.

Long story short, without a pandemic, they never would have met.
