Q + A

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Semi-Formal/Cocktail Attire Please! Think of the perfect balance between casual and dressy.

Are kids allowed at our wedding?

This is an adult only wedding, a reputable local sitting service with all of the credentials (CPR/First Aid Certifications, clean background checks, references, and many years of experience in childcare) can be set up for your kids under age 12 if needed (we will pay). *Infants under 12 months are welcome at the wedding, unless you’re comfortable with a sitter for them. You are welcome to bring your kids with you down to Florida, just keep in mind the information above for our wedding.

Where is our wedding and reception going to be hosted?

We are hosting our wedding and reception at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. More specifically, Disney’s Wedding Pavilion at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Our reception will be held at a restaurant called Cítricos, which is located inside the resort and it is being closed to host our reception. We chose this location due to our love for the theme parks and all things Disney. This will be a destination wedding, a place a lot of our family will need to travel to. That being said, we completely understand if you can’t make it and look forward to seeing you at a future time. If you can make it; you’ll be in for the most magical time with us at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Due to our wedding location and the rules imposed by the company, We are unable to invite "plus ones" as we have a tight number maximum. Please only those who are on the invitation. We are so excited, however, to spend our special day with you as well as the remainder of our family and close friends.

Is there parking?

Yes, there will be complimentary parking for the wedding and reception.

Where should we stay?

As you most know, I (Delaney) am a travel agent (specializing in Disney Destinations) and I am more than happy to help book your stay right on Disney property. Whether you’re looking to just stay for a few nights or make a vacation out of it and visit the wonderful Walt Disney World Theme Parks. My services are free to use! Contact me as soon as you know you’re coming, as availability is limited and I can help find you the best deal. We have a discounted room block rate as well, which you can find on the “Room Block Information” page.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Yes, lots of yummy food! Expect an entire brunch and cake. We even recommend coming with an empty stomach! Please plan on attending the reception if you were invited to the wedding, as we are paying per person for food and have paid in advance for you to be there.

Can I take pictures?

We are requesting that our wedding ceremony be unplugged, which means we prefer if our wedding guests do not use their phone at all during the ceremony. You’re more than welcome to use it during the reception though!

How can I RSVP?

We will be sending out save the dates, RSVPs, and other important information to you.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive to the Wedding Pavilion at 9:15am. Once you arrive, please make your way to an open seat, as the ceremony will begin at 9:30am.
