It all began on a February evening in 2018, at a small gathering to celebrate our friend Tuki’s birthday. From that night forward, we found every reason to spend time together—whether it was late-night Sonic drive-thru runs, pick-up basketball games, or grabbing doughnuts and pizza at Delaney's frat fundraisers. Weekend BBQs and get-togethers became the usual, and it soon became clear to the both of us that we were drawn to each other.

As time went on, we started dating and traveling together. Little by little, our adventures grew until Bubba convinced Delaney's entire family to join his growing family as well for a trip to Hawaii. With all the thought and love he poured into planning that special trip, it was no surprise that he proposed in Kauai, just before Christmas in 2023.
