In the heart of Ball State's nursing school, a love story began to bloom between two individuals. Their paths first crossed at the beginning of school but grew even closer throughout the years. The first day of junior year is where the two sat right by each other. Months go by, Wyatt is playing games on his computer and Delaney looking for puppies to rescue online, when Wyatt finally has the courage to ask Delaney on a date. A cozy coffee shop turned into an unforgettable three hour long date. Lost in conversation, they discovered a connection that felt like destiny. As summer painted their college town in hues of adventure, their bond deepened with each passing day. Senior year was full of celebrating the little things they enjoyed; school, each other, traveling and animals. The two embarked in a new journey of becoming dog parents and traveling! As December brought them their new puppy Mabel and March bringing with it a sun-kissed spring break trip to Mexico. Their final summer in their college town was full of laughter and shared dreams, which ended in a romantic getaway to Canada. Then, on a warm August afternoon visit to Fort Wayne, Wyatt orchestrated the perfect proposal – a dreamy picnic beneath a picturesque bridge. A proposal one could only dream of. After a day of petting animals and picking sunflowers, he asked Delaney to be his forever, she joyfully said yes and their love story destined to be cherished for all the days to come.
