Our Wedding

Rafal and I first messaged each other in August of 2020. I had posted a photo on instagram and he had DM'd me. We had zero mutual friends and to this day we are not sure as to how he was following me. We had messaged back and forth a couple of times but nothing really came of it. It was not until I saw one of his friends post a photo of him for his birthday that I realized... "wow, this guy is kind of cute." I sent him a happy birthday message and we planned our first date at Blue Wasabi. We had such an amazing first date - after dinner we went and walked around Tempe Town lake for hours talking. I knew that night that I wanted a second date.

Our First Months

We quickly learned that we had lots of things in common, our love of travel, The Office, food, and just spending time with each other. We were pretty much inseparable once we met. Just after a month of us being together, my mom and I took a trip to California. As I was sitting on the beach, I realized how much I missed him. I told my mom about how I was feeling and she said "invite him." I quickly gave him a call and in about 20 minutes he had booked a hotel, packed a bag and was on his way out to California. This is still one of my favorite trips and I can say this is when my mom decided she liked him more than me ;) He is my absolute best friend and I am so happy that I get to spend the rest of my life with him.

I knew I wanted to marry Rafal early on in our relationship, but we knew we were not in a rush. Our talks of marriage were not a single moment or grand declaration, but a beautiful evolution-small everyday conversations that built the foundation of our forever. And now, we are overjoyed to invite you to join us as we officially say, "I do" in the paradise of Hawaii, where our love story continues. We cannot wait to celebrate this chapter with you!

Talks of Marriage 

I graduated from ASU in May of 2023. My parents (who are the best) took our entire family on a cruise to the Bahamas. At this point I had already tried on rings, I had sent him the one I wanted...but no one told me to bring anything specific on this trip. The night he proposed I was SHOCKED. I had no idea it was happening. My sister, Claire and Emersyn had gotten our room all set up to make the proposal PERFECT. It was just us two on the balcony with the ocean waves in the background. It was perfect. I will never forget this night.

The Day He Proposed 

In December of 2023 we took a trip to Honolulu, Hawaii. We went to look at over 12 venues and take our engagement photos. We were incredibly busy this whole trip with something to do every single day. We had gone to over 7 venues before we looked at the one we chose. When we got to Kualoa Ranch, we both looked at each other and smiled. We just knew this was the most perfect venue, we did not want to look at any others once we left. We cannot wait for everyone to see how beautiful it is!

Sofia is the funniest, craziest, most loving person I know. We met working at Fat Tuesdays and we were instantly friends. She is my go to, my rock, she can always make me feel better if I am down.

Bella and I met in 2017 working at Chilis together. We were the hostess with the mostest. We became such good friends, Bella is the most caring person I know. She is amazing!!!!

Kelsey and I also met at Fat Tuesdays back in 2020, but funny story she is also from Bloomington Illinois like me! Kelsey is incredibly smart, caring and so hard working. I am blessed to have her by my side on my wedding day!

Peyton and I are childhood best friends, I was just recently in her wedding and she is now a Murphy!!! Our weddings our almost exactly a year apart, I am so happy she will be a part of my wedding!!!
