Once upon a time, in a land far far away (from where they live now)... a loud-mouthed young chap and a boy-crazy young lady established a bond so strong it defied all the odds stacked against them.

Under a hot Texas sun, a beach volleyball tournament ensued with a rather charming announcer running the mic. His accents, impersonations, and quick wit captured the attention of a beautiful young lady who couldn't help but laugh at his puns and dad jokes.

He approached the young lady, sitting all alone, and asked her to play on his team. It only took a few seconds and the removal of his shirt to make up her mind. It was game time. And while they may not have won the tournament, they definitely scored.

They found each other as broken individuals, trying to put the pieces of their lives back together — a situation many would find as unhealthy grounds for a new relationship. Yet, the two were inseparable, deeply loving, and accepting each other for who they are while helping and encouraging personal growth every step of the way.

Delaney and Tyler started their lives together in Lubbock, Texas, with the addition of their beloved dog, Raye. Dreaming of a life where the mountains meet the sea, they up-and-left the desert plains of West Texas and moved to the dreary and beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Today, they find happiness spending time together in the moment, whether that be at home, on a hike, or some other type of adventure. The couple shares a love for movies and TV shows, specifically crime-thrillers, documentaries, and of course (guilty pleasure) WWE. After marriage, they plan on building a home and a family to fill it with.
