Della and Spencer first crossed paths in July 2024 at the Leadership Institute. Their very first interaction was a quick joke about how Della’s last name was the same as Spencer’s first name — a funny coincidence, but not something that immediately sparked romance. It wasn’t until October that they really started talking, and by November, exactly four months after they met, they were officially dating.

Their first date was a trip to Kingston, Tennessee, to go shooting — because nothing says romance quite like good aim, gunpowder, and a little friendly competition.

For the first seven months, their relationship was long distance, which meant a lot of late-night FaceTime calls, swapping memes, and finding creative ways to “hang out” from miles apart. Even without much time together in person, they built a strong foundation — and when they did get to visit, every moment felt extra special.

In July 2025, Spencer proposed to Della at Cumberland Falls National Park in Kentucky — though in true memorable fashion, he opened the ring box upside down. Della still said “yes,” so they’re calling it a win.

Now, they’re counting down the days until they say “I do” — and looking forward to a lifetime of adventures, raising a family, and building a life together.
