Andrew and Demie met in 2017 in West Lafayette, IN, where they were both starting their careers in broadcasting. Andy, a Maine native, never had plans to stay in the Midwest. He even told Demie multiple times a relationship wasn't in the cards. In the meantime, the two became great friends and eventually fell in love. Andy signed a contract extension to stay in the area which ended up working out well because Demie took her next television job in Indianapolis. Before they knew it, five years had gone by and they both were part of each other's families and lives. When Demie accepted another offer in Orlando, Andy made the decision to follow her and proposed a year later in Amelia Island, FL. Andy is an avid New England sports fan and sports fan in general. He's been to multiple stadiums and arenas across the country and even attended two Super Bowls. He was also a fantastic athlete! Demie was a talented gymnast but was more passionate about music and broadway. She also competed in Miss America and Miss USA pageants for most of her life. Their competitive nature keeps them both on their toes and always working to improve in life and their relationship. They enjoy working out, going to the movies, watching movies and eating and cooking together!
