Day we met in person. We had pupusas from Toti's. This was at the peak of covid and we weren't allowed to eat inside restaurants so we ate in the car and it was messy. He asked me to be his girlfriend. I said no and started crying.

We facetimed a lot.

Thrifting date. We chose each other's outfits with a limit of $15. Denise met some of Zed's closest friends.

Visited Disneyland! Zed's family LOVES Disney! So when Denise told them she enjoyed Six Flags a bit more..it was a red flag.

Breakfast with Denise's family. Zedekiah asked her parents for her hand in marriage. Due to a language barrier, he prepared a letter in Spanish which he read to them. Denise's family loves that Zedekiah continues to practice and speak spanish with them.

Denise experienced camping with the Fries. Zedekiah had not mentally prepared her for this experience. Tynin gave her a shovel when she needed to use the restroom, but Denise, who had never gone camping, did not take the shovel seriously. David had packed 1 soup per night and advised everyone else to do so too. Tynin, thankfully packed extra for everyone and shared.

Within the first 10 minutes of being in water, everyone flipped, were caught in bushes, and needed Dave's help to get back on their kayak. It was a hard day for Denise. She slept on a sleeping bag that deflated and used a shoe as a pillow. She considered calling their family friend, Janice, to save her as she slept 0 hours that night. At the end of the trip, Denise told Dave she would only go on one of Dave's trips once per year.

Paint date. Zed was giving Denise instructions on what to do without allowing her to see the picture. Denise was not having it and Zed was trying not to laugh.

Denise met grandpa Franklin, his aunts, and uncles.

Date night at a melodrama. It was a night filled with yummy food and lots of laughs.
