Sean and Denisha met in the summer of 2019. Both young singles had made profiles on the popular dating website Match.com. Sean thinking Denisha was a catfish found her on Facebook to verify that she was real. The two happily chatted online for a couple of weeks before deciding to meet in person. They settled on meeting at a movie theater in Newport, VT. Their first date led to a summer romance. They decided to become an official couple on July 13, 2019. Sean and Denisha spent the summer hiking, camping, going to concerts, and bonding over their love of alternative music and film. When the summer ended they decided to engage in a long distance relationship as they lived two hours and a half apart. The distance turned out to be worth it considering they never spent a weekend apart. In the summer of 2021 Sean decided to take a leap of faith and move to Saint Albans, VT to live with Denisha. Sean found a great teaching job and the two plus their cat Maggie shared a comfy apartment. Sean supported Denisha in her venture to build her private practice. The couple then spent the year adventuring and making memories together. As winter time approached Sean decided to propose to Denisha. Sean proposed to Denisha on Feb. 14. 2022. Sean chose to propose on this day not because of Valentine's day but because Denisha's grandparents were married on Feb, 14 and have been together for 26 years. Sean knew this date would mean a lot to Denisha. Now they are inviting their friends and family to celebrate their upcoming marriage. The couple will be celebrating their five year anniversary the date they say "I do."
