Meeting Dent through Katlin's POV:   It all started at the Blind Horse Saloon! I was so excited to go out to the Blind Horse Saloon for the Scotty McCreery Concert in the Fall of 2021. I had somehow convinced a lot of my physical therapy friends, my sister, and best friend to come up to enjoy the weekend in Greenville. Needless to say, one of my physical therapy friends, Amanda Smith, invited her long-time friend, Dent. to come out with a bunch of their Anderson, SC friends. We had a crew this night! If you know me, you know I love to chat. Me and Dent hit it off that night and he asked for my number. We hung out a few more times, going to Local Cue, playing pool at my apartment, and meeting up at the UofSC vs Clemson game before he finally asked me to go on a official date in January 2022. Of course, I said yes! For about 2 months we were only going out on dates and hanging out with friends on Saturdays. Finally, after all of the courting, on March 12th, 2022, we made it official. Over these past couple of years, we have been almost inseparable. We've attended concerts, Carolina games, weddings, and family events together. It was an easy yes when he asked me to marry him at the downtown waterfront of Beaufort, SC, on November 3rd, 2024. Throughout these past 3+ years, he has become my best friend, my biggest supporter, and my safe space. He gets me unlike anybody ever has, and I am excited to spend forever with him.
