Deona and Gary’s journey began while working together in behavioral healthcare for the state of Oregon. What started as a professional relationship soon grew into a meaningful connection as they supported each other through some of life’s toughest challenges, including the loss of a parent. As coworkers, they leaned on one another, finding comfort and strength in their shared experiences. Over time, their bond deepened, and a beautiful friendship blossomed. Their support for one another became unwavering, and before long, they realized they were no longer just friends but partners in every sense of the word. Through life’s hardships and joys, Deona and Gary became inseparable, building a love rooted in resilience, understanding, and unwavering support.
