Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

The Desert Museum is a great place to learn and experience the desert wildlife. Part zoo and part botanical gardens, it's definitely worth checking out while you're in town!

Saguaro National Park

The city of Tucson sits in the middle of Saguaro National Park, so you can visit either Saguaro National Park East or Saguaro National Park West. Both parks offer lots of hiking, and a great opportunity to see the Saguaros and other desert wildlife.

Mount Lemmon

Mt Lemmon rises nearly 7,000 feet from the city of Tucson. While the base of the mountain is in the Sonoran desert, the ecosystem at the top resembles the rockies, and on the drive up you experience everything in between. It's a scenic drive with lots of viewpoints, and it also offers hiking and incredible rock climbing.

Sabino Canyon

Where Alex and Derek took their engagement photos. A lovely hiking spot, Sabino Canyon offers a variety of trails and great views of the desert.

This is one of Alex and Derek's favorite places to get a breakfast burrito, sit in the lovely courtyard and bask in the sun, and enjoy award winning authentic Mexican cuisine. Come for the tacos of joy or the burritos all the same. You would be remiss to come to Tucson and not make a stop.
