Pickleball and Things

We met in 2024 at a College Night at Watkinsville First Baptist Church and ended up becoming quick friends through our love of pickleball and our friends.

The next year, both of us interned at our church. Through both that and family dinners each Sunday night with our friends, we started seeing each other more often and getting to know each other better, before starting dating in early 2025. After dating for only a month and a half, Gena went on a summer internship, and we have been doing long distance ever since.

Dating and being engaged long distance has been incredibly difficult, but the Lord has used this time to teach us a lot very fast. By His grace we are where we are today, and we can’t wait to walk down the aisle.
