We wanted to share some highlights and our favorite spots with you so you can see why we love calling Austin home. Please let us know if you need a recommendation for something specific!

- This is the original location

- Best known for their Mexican martinis

Black’s BBQ (Off Guadelupe)

- Nicole’s favorite BBQ in town


Terry Black’s BBQ (off Barton Springs)

- Family Rival of Black's BBQ


Stiles Switch BBQ

- Derek’s favorite in town

- You'll recognize this location as the pool hall from Dazed & Confused

- Elite BBQ, but be ready to be in line around 6/7AM

P. Terry’s Burgers

- We prefer this over In-N-Out, which is probably controversial

- They always have a shake of the month


Bars / Breweries

Whistler's

- Craft cocktails in a historic stone building

- Sometimes there’s a small mezcal bar open upstairs

- We may end up here after the wedding (it’s kind of tradition among our friends)


Skinny’s Off the Track

- Chill sports bar vibe


The Rustic Tap

- Usually has live music

- Off West 6th & easily accessible to more bars for bar hopping


Central Machine Works

- Large outdoor space & Food trucks

- Very VERY good burgers and sandwiches and pizzas


Meanwhile Brewery

- Big outdoor spaces

- Many different food trucks


Speakeasies

Firehouse Lounge

- Probably the easiest one to get into

- Typically doesn’t need a reservation

- Located in the Firehouse Hostel downtown and right behind a bookcase inside


** There are tons and they usually need reservations so we would recommend a general google search and getting an RSVP! **
