Chris and Desiree met on a Tuesday night in April 2021—two paths crossing at just the right moment. Desiree was out for a girls’ night at the Marlin Bar, while Chris stopped in for what he thought would be a quick drink before heading home. Fate had other plans. One drink turned into hours of conversation, closing down the bar, and continuing the night elsewhere because neither wanted it to end.Somewhere between laughter and shared stories, something special began. When golf came up, Desiree jokingly mentioned she loved watching the players’ little “butt shimmy” on the tee box. Without hesitation, Chris stood up, smiled, and said, “Oh, like this?”—perfectly recreating the moment. Laughter filled the room, and from then on, their connection was undeniable.From their very first conversation at Ola, Chris and Desiree were open and honest with one another, sharing their dreams, values, and hopes for the future. It was clear they had found something rare—an easy, natural love that felt like home.Their love grew deeper with the arrival of their greatest blessing, Cru Christopher Jones, born on July 19, 2022. With all three sharing July birthdays, their family felt beautifully and perfectly complete.Now, Chris and Desiree are ready to begin this next chapter hand in hand, surrounded by the family and friends who have supported, loved, and celebrated them every step of the way.
