The closest airport to Troncones, Mexico is Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo (ZIH). This is an international airport that has direct flights from many major cities. Troncones is a 40-minute drive from the airport. We will update the website with taxi information shortly. It is recommended to use a taxi, these are safe and easily found at the airport. For those who would prefer a driver, please reach out to me and I will be happy to set something up for you.

We suggest booking your flights ASAP after you RSVP. There are only 1-2 flights leaving on check out day, and will likely get booked quickly, as May is considered "high season" for the area.

Something to consider, especially for our loved ones traveling from the South and East, we have been informed that flights coming in on Thursday or leaving Sunday may not be as affordable or convenient than to fly in earlier in the week and to leave later and some flights have a rather long layover in Mexico City depending on the day. May we suggest extending your trip and stopping off in Mexico City and/or Ixtapa for a few days? Make it a real vacation! There are such lovely sights to see and both locales are safe with many Airbnb and hotel options. I would be happy to recommend restaurants and tourist attractions in Mexico City, a gorgeous city that is near and dear to my heart.
