Let me set the scene, all the way back to 3rd grade, Lincoln Elementary, Mrs. Sass’ 3rd Grade class. We saw each other often in passing between lunch and recess which is exactly where our first memories of each other began.
Fast forward to middle school, Boston Middle School, to be exact, where small talk was often exchanged. Text messages which included, “Meet me at the bottom of the stairwell to hug,” and a million games of twenty questions which would be the catalyst to the beginning of forever. I always knew I was going to marry Caleb. So much, in fact, that I took it upon myself to inform all of my friends that they should expect nothing less then for us to get married one day, which I assume they thought was crazy.
Fast forward, again, to high school now, we attended two separate schools, and the casual run-ins in the hallways were no longer. However, Caleb and I made sure to stay in contact which lead to long car rides and listening to music at the beach just to be in each others’ company again.
On September 14th, 2017, Caleb asked me to be his girlfriend, and five years later, on January 13th, 2022, asked me to be his wife. As I am writing to you today, Caleb and I have never been so sure about anything in our lives. We hope you join us in this, soon to come, celebration of love and our story.
