Who would've ever thought would be here? Sure not us!

I was just a single mom of three, and was just living normal day to day life not looking for anything serious. Jack well lets just say he was truly living life! He had tried for several months to get my attention, from sliding up on my stories, to in my inbox asking to take me out. I played hard to get, and truly just ignored him if were being honest. Until one day my friends convinced me to go on a party bus, yes you read that right! Low and behold there he was, and lets just say that is night that we sure don't forget! We hit it off from there, it was like we became inseparable almost, the constant texting, snapping throughout the day, late night facetime calls, and porch hangs with papa, or bonfires with friends. My heart was growing for him, then came the most important time.. Meeting my kids. We went to a local park and he showed up with fishing rods and won them over right off the bat, it was right then I knew he was the one. I didn't say it out loud but my heart and soul knew. We started doing movie sleepovers, and hanging out with papa, tractor rides with the kids. It felt like a dream almost. He moved in with us, and boy was he in for a treat! He learned real quick that being a step parent was a whirlwind of emotions, and one heck of a roller coaster ride!

We got our first condo together, moved to a new city and just were getting closer each day. The kids quickly got attached, and love their "Jacky" tremendously, even though the love to test the patience. We ended our stay in the condo and moved to a house on the other side of town, and we've been making it a home. The kids got their own oasis as you could say in the backyard and we've become the hangout house for the neighborhood kids.

We have our up's and downs and were learning each day from each other and the obstacles that god throws at us, but together we know that we can and we will accomplish everything.
